1. Overview

PdayEmails ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. PdayEmails is operated by Jethro Jones.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Name and email address (account registration)
• Missionary's name and email address (for delivery)
• Missionary email content received and routed through PdayEmails
• Payment information (processed by Stripe - we do not store card numbers)
• Referral and gift-voucher information, such as referral codes, discount status, and redemption status

Information collected automatically:

• Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
• Usage data (features used, emails sent, delivery status)
• Cookies necessary for session management and authentication
• Referral and campaign cookies used to remember a referral source for up to 90 days

3. How We Use Your Information

• Deliver missionary emails to approved subscribers
• Manage your account, subscriber list, and one-time purchase
• Process payments via Stripe
• Send transactional emails (delivery confirmations, receipts, account notices)
• Improve and maintain the Service
• Track referral credits, referral discounts, gift vouchers, and basic growth analytics
• Respond to your support requests

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your email content for advertising or AI training.

For referral attribution, we may compare a new account manager's email address against existing subscriber lists. Automatic referral credit is applied only when there is one clear eligible match. Referrers do not see subscriber email addresses or the identity of the referred buyer.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate PdayEmails:

• Stripe - payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Buttondown - newsletter and email delivery infrastructure. Buttondown Privacy Policy
• Resend - inbound email processing. Resend Privacy Policy
• Hetzner - cloud hosting (servers located in Germany and Finland). Hetzner Privacy Policy

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Email content, imported archive content, referral ledger records, payment references, and delivery logs are retained as needed to provide the archive, printed book, support, accounting, and payout workflows. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate accounting records.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of non-essential communications

7. Children's Privacy

PdayEmails is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
